The system for updating/re-registering the particulars of ultimate beneficial owners opened on 14 November 2023, according to relevant announcement of the Registrar of Companies regarding the Implementation of Final Solution of the UBO Register.
Further to that, the Registrar of Companies has decided to extend Phase A by two months, which means that the new deadline for re-submitting the relevant information onto the system is 29 February 2024.
It is emphasized that no compliance to the above requirement may lead to fines but also criminal charges.
