Our firm has recently participated in a business delegation to Lebanon.
The Cyprus-Lebanon Business Forum which took place on the 14th of June was organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Ministry of
Energy, Commerce, Industry & Tourism and the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), in co-operation with the Cyprus-Lebanon Business Association and
OEB. The event was attended by 67 Cypriot companies and attracted a large number of Lebanese companies.
The President of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Anastasiades attended the event and gave the key note address. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Kasoulides also gave a speech. The speeches and presentations were followed by panel discussions and finally B2B meetings which gave the opportunity to the businesses attending the event to discuss possible ways of cooperation.
Our firm was represented by managing advocate Alex Danos and associate Nora Tsartsali and had a number of fruitful meetings which we hope will help strengthen our ties with the Middle East and increase the size of our Middle East clientele. Our firm already has an established and prestigious clientele from the Middle East which includes high-net-worth individuals who have invested in Cyprus to obtain the permanent residence.
