The House of Representatives has approved an amendment to the Companies Act Cap. 113 and extended the deadline for the payment of the annual levy to the Companies Registrar to the 31st of December 2021.
Further, the amended law empowers the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry to further extend the deadline with the issuance of a new Decree. The extension of the deadline is expected to help businesses struggling due to the pandemic of Covid 19.
