Danos & Associates participated yesterday in the seminar under the title ‘Could Cyprus become the second home for Chinese Investors’ held at Hilton Hotel and organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus-China Business Association.
Chinese investors remain very important for the Cyprus economy and although interest in Cyprus properties has fallen the last year, there are positive signs that Chinese investors are regaining their interest in Cyprus. The economy of the island is now much more stable than 1 year ago and Cyprus remains a very attractive destination with many advantages.
In the seminar the concept of the ‘Property Certificate Report’ was introduced which is a very welcomed idea which would provide a sense of security for Chinese buyers who want to be certain that everything relating to the property they buy is in order.
Danos & Associates welcomes this and any other initiatives to promote Cyprus to Chinese and other investors and any new measures introduced to safeguard the rights of foreign investors.
